UNIQLO, the world’s fourth largest apparel retail company and Japan’s leading specialty retailer with six brands under its helm and a global sales of 928 billion yen in 2012, launches its Spring/Summer 2013 collections last February 7 at the Venice Piazza in Mckinley Hill. Also present during the launch is Mr. Katsumi Kubota, the Chief Operating Officer of Fast Retailing Philippines, Inc. and UNIQLO celebrity brand ambassador, Ms. Iza Calzado.
Among the brands showcased during the launch are their STETECO and RELACO Loungewear Pants, Shorts and Bottoms as well as Women’s Wear from leading brands like Karen Walker, Green Gate, Celia Birtwell, Cabbages and Roses, and participants of their Designer Invitation Project, Double Standard Clothing, G.V.G.V., Good Morning Beautiful People, Leur Logette, Plumpy Nuts, and Ilian Loeb.
Today UNIQLO has more than 1,100 stores in 13 markets, namely Japan, China, France, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, U.K. and the U.S. UNIQLO continues to open large-scale stores in some of the world’s most important cities and locations, as part of its ongoing efforts to solidify its status as a truly global brand. UNIQLO operates an integrated business model under which it designs, manufactures, markets and sells high-quality, casual apparel in line with its ‘Made for All’ philosophy.
All designs are now available at UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia and SM City North EDSA The BLOCK. There’s also been a lot of buzz about a UNIQLO BGC (Fort Bonifacio) store in the making – so let’s wait and see.
