The Miss World Philippines organization presented to the media last Thursday (August 29) at Novotel Manila’s Verailles Tent this year’s batch of aspiring beauty queens.
Led by Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria and hosted by Mr World Philippines 2018 JB Saliba, Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez, Miss Eco Philippines 2018 Maureen Montagne, and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018 Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, the event showcased 40 of the sexiest and most beautiful ladies in the country today in their swim wear.
A very interesting batch this year as it includes three (3) celebrity contestants – Isabella De Leon, Michelle Dee and Kelley Day. The 2019 line-up also includes two (2) former Miss World aspirants, a flight attendant, a lawyer, and sisters of former beauty queens.
More titles are also up for grabs this year. In addition to Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Eco International and Miss Multinational, the pageant also adds Miss Eco Teen International and Miss Philippines Tourism.
The Miss World Philippines 2019 pageant is scheduled on September 15 and will be telecast live via GMA Network’s Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) at 10pm.
The winning Miss World Philippines 2019 will compete in the global Miss World pageant scheduled on December 14 in ExCel, London.
