ARTIKULO 247 Crime-Drama Series to Take Audience to a Darker Place

In a recently held blog conference, the cast of new GMA Afternoon Prime crime-drama series ARTIKULO 247 described the show as intense, intelligent and ingeniously produced.

Set to premiere on Monday (March 7), ARTIKULO 247 stars on lead some of the most sought after Kapuso actors and actresses and directed by Jorron Lee Monroy.

KRIS BERNAL plays the role of Claire Almazan who also has an alias named Carmen Borromeo. A victim of circumstances who will turn to a life of crime all for the sake of love.

RHIAN RAMOS is Jane Ortega who dreamt of a simple life but was caught in the middle of a very complicated and elaborate web of lies and passion.

MARK HERRAS and BENJAMIN ALVES plays the role of brothers Elijah and Noah Borromeo. Falling into a trap set by the very clever and cunning Claire.

MIKE TAN is Julian Pineda who play as the “dark horse” in the story of ARTIKULO 247.

To better understand where the new show is coming from, Article 247 of the revise penal code states that:

“Any legally married person who having surprised his spouse in the act of committing sexual intercourse with another person, shall kill any of them or both of them in the act or immediately thereafter, or shall inflict upon them any serious physical injury, shall suffer the penalty of destierro.”

The good news is, ARTIKULO 247, according to the cast, is not going to be another “Kabit” or “Hiwalayan” series. It promises to take audience to a very different, darker but extremely entertaining place.
