Dingdong Dantes To Host Family Feud Philippines Once Again

Dingdong Dantes will return as Game Master of the local franchise of the internationally acclaimed family game show Family Feud.

Family Feud first went on air in the US back in 1976. The game basically pits two families against each other. Contestants will try to guess one at a time the most popular response to a survey question, and each family gets to play until an answer is missed. The other family then gets the chance to take over the game or steal. The family with the most points at the end of the round gets to compete in the bonus round to increase their winnings.

Dingdong previously hosted Family Feud Philippines in 2010 in GMA after replacing Richard Gomez. But the game show has been around since 2001 in the Philippines with singer Ogie Alcasid as its first game master. Luis Manzano was the latest to host the game show from 2016 to 2017 this time on ABS-CBN.

This 2022, GMA will once again air Family Feud Philippines and have Dingdong Dantes as its returning Game Master.

In a recent blog conference, Dingdong said that he can’t contain his excitement when the offer was made to him.

“Family Feud is very different from Amazing Earth,” the actor said.

Dingdong reiterated that Family Feud is a live show where he will be able to interact with different people. He also said that he’d want to guest the “Guerrero Family” (popular video creators Nanz Kyle, Niana, Natalia, etc.) in his show if possible. Or, maybe one day, instead of hosting Family Feud, become one of the contestants together with Marian, Zia and Ziggy. 🙂

Family Feud is set to premiere on GMA Network on March 21 at 5:45 p.m.
