Through the Eat Well, Live Well: 2023 Youth Summit, APC worked hand in hand with the public sector to give the Gen Z a platform to work together and realize the impact they hold when they take positive actions toward health and environment sustainability. From plenary sessions in the morning to breakout-out sessions in the afternoon, leading up to group activities, current challenges in health, nutrition, and the environment were discussed and how the government and APC address these issues. Inspiring the young generation of today to start within themselves may it be at home, in their schools, or in their own communities, the activities were taken as fire starters for sustainable and innovative solutions and initiatives.

“As we champion sustainability, Ajinomoto remains unwavering in our commitment to lead through example. We aspire to incorporate our motto, Eat Well, Live Well in our daily lives, and we are confident that we are in fact a step closer Towards a Better Tomorrow, if we continue to support opportunities such as this Youth Summit, together with our partners from the government who share the same vision,” says APC General Manager for Public Relation Roann Co.

Committed to being a force for good for the Filipino society when it comes to nutrition and sustainability, APC believes that the Eat Well, Live Well: 2023 Youth Summit is onlythe beginning of a journey for the future generation to become champions of lifestyle change.

To be able to provide this platform that fosters learning, engagement, and discourse with the leading dignitaries in health, nutrition and the environment including Dr. Dex Macalintal, Nutritionist Audee Sunga-Berces, along with government agency leaders, DOH Former Health Secretary Dr. Paulyn Jean Rosell – Ubial, DENR Officer in Charge Environmental and Information Division Merva Arapo, DepEd Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carleen Sedilla, and APC’s Sustainability Officer Ernie Carlos with Nutrition Advancement Manager Debbie Fajarda, the participating students are without a doubt off to a good start as they influence more of their generation to take positive action.

“You can count on Ajinomoto to continue to create and provide avenues for the younger generation to learn, engage, and inspire the Filipino community to eat well and live well for a bright future of Philippine society, where everyone can live life to the fullest with proper nutrition,” says APC President Mr. Koichi Ozaki when asked about the future plans of Ajinomoto when it comes to addressing nutrition and environment concerns in the Philippines.

The event was capped through a Ceremonial Pledge of Commitment among the student delegates to seal in their devotion to be champions of health and the environment towards a greener and healthier Philippine nation.
