Launched in the Philippines early September this year (2022), OPPO’s first tablet the OPPO Pad Air was priced at an SRP of only 13,999 Pesos and featured a 10.36-inch 2K Eye Care display powered by a Snapdragon 680 8-core 6nm Processor and an Adreno 610 GPU.

While OPPO Pad Air came to the market as an alternative tool for entertainment specifically because of its huge immersive screen, Dolby Atmos Symmetrical Quad-Speakers and 7100 mAh massive all-day use battery (which translates to around 12 hours of non-stop binge-watching and streaming), one cannot discount that it can also be use to boost productivity in school, work and business.

One serious advantage of using a tablet even if it has almost the same features as your computers and phones is that it’s STILL lighter than your average laptops and has a bigger screen than your average smartphone. So it’s kind of the best of the two worlds.

The OPPO Pad Air with a more than capable 4GB RAM with a virtual RAM expansion capabilities of up to 3GB more can be used for either your demanding games or to enhance your productivity elsewhere.

Game Test for OPPO Pad Air:

And speaking of productivity, the Pad Air has a lot of features that can help like Dual Windows, Split Screen and Multi-Screen Connect that allows users not only to cast the phone screen to the tablet, but also supports reverse control and text input for efficient multitasking – just to name a few that are made available through its ColorOS.

I also find OPPO Pad Air aesthetically pleasing to the eye with its elegant Grey metallic industrial surface finish accented by an industry first Sunset Dune 3D texture that runs straight all the way to the bezel that holds the 8MP Rear Camera. It’s very professional-looking that you wont mind carrying it anywhere in the office.

OPPO Pad Air

If the built-in 64GB storage too small for your needs, don’t worry because the OPPO Pad Air also has MicroSD support that can allow expansion up to 512GB more.

Over-all the OPPO Pad Air is not bad for a first offering. I am sure that OPPO has a lot more innovation in store for this segment in the future.
