Meet the Powerhouse Finalists Redefining Wellness in the 20th Anniversary Century Tuna Superbods

Century Tuna Superbods

For two decades, the Century Tuna Superbods search has set the standard for fitness in the Philippines. But as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, the competition has officially entered a new, more inclusive, and deeply personal “Superbod Era.”

The recent Final Callback didn’t just showcase physical transformation; it unveiled a powerhouse group of finalists who embody mental grit, diverse life experiences, and a shared commitment to a healthier future.

A Shift Toward the Holistic

Gone are the days when the competition was solely about the aesthetic. This year, the focus has shifted toward the why behind the physique. The judges weren’t just looking for muscle definition; they were looking for personal transformation, unshakeable resilience, and the grit it takes to lead a purposeful life.

As hosts Maureen Montagne (2018 Grand Winner) and KC Montero guided the candidates through the event, it became clear that “healthy” is now being defined as a reflection of mental strength, lifestyle discipline, and authentic identity.

The Faces of the New Era

This year’s roster is perhaps the most dynamic in the brand’s history, featuring a mix of pageant veterans, social media icons, and everyday health warriors who are shattering traditional fitness molds.

Among the standout finalists moving on to the grand finale are:

  • Aaron Maniego: Known to his two million TikTok followers as the “Pambansang Bortang Barbie,” this Bubble Gang star is a trailblazer in his own right. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Aaron is redefining the meaning of “sexy” by balancing his edgy, high-fashion confidence with a down-to-earth, relatable fitness journey.
  • Anna Valencia Lakrini: A seasoned beauty queen with a world-class pedigree, Anna brings immense discipline to the stage. Having previously represented the country as Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023—where she famously won “Best in Swimsuit”—she is now channeling her years of training and pageant excellence into the Superbod movement.
  • Lou Yanong: A familiar and beloved face in the entertainment scene, Lou brings her natural charisma and disciplined lifestyle to the competition. Her transition to the Superbod stage reflects her commitment to maintaining a vibrant, healthy lifestyle despite a demanding career in the public eye.
  • Gee Canlas: A talented actress and dedicated fitness enthusiast, Gee is stepping into this competition to showcase that maintaining a “Superbod” is an ongoing, evolving lifestyle choice that requires as much mental strength as it does physical activity.
  • Diane Querrer: Bringing her own unique blend of grace and athletic intensity, Diane has proven to be a fierce contender, representing the grit and determination that characterizes this year’s “ageless” and highly motivated batch.

Why This Batch is Different

The 2026 finalists represent a fundamental shift in how we view health. Gone are the days when the “Superbod” title was reserved for a select few. The stage this year featured returning contenders on their fourth attempt, mother-child duos training together, and transgender challengers—all proving that vitality has no expiration date and knows no boundaries.

“As we stepped into the ‘Superbod Era,’ we celebrate health as a powerful life stage where passion, dedication, and holistic wellness come together,” says Mr. Carlo Endaya, Vice President and General Manager of Century Pacific Food Inc.
