If you happened to pass by the Mega Fashion Hall at SM Megamall over the weekend, you definitely felt the electric energy pulsing through the air. The B.LEAGUE FINAL WEEK in Manila 2026 just wrapped up its epic four-day basketball festival on Sunday, May 24, and to say it left local hoops fans buzzing would be a massive understatement.
From star-studded appearances and ground-breaking tournaments to a nail-biting finals viewing party, the event perfectly fused high-octane sports with the ultimate lifestyle experience. Missed out on the action? Donât worry, weâve got you covered with the biggest highlights from an unforgettable weekend.
Breaking Barriers at the 3×3 Challenge
The basketball action reached a fever pitch during Day 2âs crown jewel: the YANMAR HANASAKA B.Hope ASIA 3×3 CHALLENGE 2026. Basketball enthusiasts and casual shoppers alike flocked courtside to watch eight powerhouse teams battle it out in a fast-paced, mixed-gender format.
Celebrating diversity and gender equality, every single squad featured both male and female ballers playing side-by-side. The sheer skill, inclusive play, and fast tempo gave the audience a thrilling afternoon of hoops. Adding serious star power to the sidelines was B.LEAGUE high-flyer Francis Lopez of the Fighting Eagles Nagoya, who made a special appearance to cheer on the homegrown talents and hype up the crowd.
A Tense Finals Showdown: Nagasaki Velca Forces Game 3
The weekend wasn’t just about the local courts; it was also about the pinnacle of Japanese professional basketball. Fans gathered at the Mega Fashion Hall for free viewing parties of the RESONA GROUP B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26 FINALS between Nagasaki Velca and the Ryukyu Golden Kings.
By Day 4 (Sunday), the stakes couldn’t have been higher. With their backs against the wall, Nagasaki Velca dominated from the first quarter of Game 2. The Ryukyu Golden Kings mounted a tense, late-game push, narrowing the gap to 60-52 with just a minute left on the clock. But Velca held their ground, securing a crucial 66-60 victory, silencing critics, and officially stretching the series to a win-or-take-all Game 3!
Inspiring the Next Generation with the Ravena Brothers
Beyond the professional matchups, the event made sure to leave a lasting impact on the local community through the B.Hope ASIA Jr. CLINIC 2026.
On Saturday, May 23, Gilas pillar Kiefer Ravena took the reins (supported by TOYOTA), serving as both an inspiring mentor to the kids and a guest commentator for the Game 1 viewing party. The youth coaching continued on Sunday, May 24 (supported by NISSEI), led by former B.LEAGUE star Thirdy Ravena. Thirdy guided Manilaâs young hoopers through specialized skills sessions, helping them sharpen their fundamentals and deepening their love for the game.
A Star-Studded Celebration of Basketball Culture
The entire four-day festival was a massive victory lap for Asian basketball culture. Looking back at the week, the star power was unmatched. Day 1 kicked off with Philippine basketball icons Dwight Ramos and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. headlining the B.Hope ASIA 1on1 CHALLENGE 2026 (supported by Meiji).
This spectacular festival wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of its official partners: TOYOTA, NISSEI, YANMAR, MEIJI, JCB, EPSON, MOLTEN, and PGA SOMPO.
