From September 17 to 19, the pavilion, under the inspiring theme âInspiring Tomorrow: Solutions for a Brighter Life,â captivated visitors with an impressive array of products. Mr. Simon Wang, President and CEO of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), proudly declared that the showcased products, from sustainable technologies to advanced medical devices, “combine smart design, advanced technology, and practicality.” Echoing this sentiment, Ms. Josephine Shun, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of the Philippines (TECO), emphasized that innovation must “serve humanity.”

The highlight for many was undoubtedly the presence of Catriona Gray. The Filipina beauty queen wasn’t just there to lend her star power; she was a genuine participant in the experience. After touring the pavilion with Mr. Simon Wang and the charming Fu Bear mascot, Catriona shared her own awe at the innovations. “Witnessing these innovative solutions from Taiwan inspires me in looking forward to a better tomorrow,” she said, urging Filipinos to seize the opportunity to explore a brighter future alongside Taiwan. Products were thoughtfully organized into three categories: “Comfortable Life,” “Smart City,” and “Greener Future.” This curation allowed attendees to easily navigate and explore innovations tailored to their interests, whether it was finding a smart fitness machine or discovering sustainable technologies.
