3-Year Old Nonochan is the Youngest Recording Artist in Japan

Three-year-old singer Nonoka Murakata, well known as Nonochan, has released her second album called, “Nonochan 3sai Kodomo Uta”, on the 12th of January 2022.

She made her debut as a children’s song singer in May 2021. She was just 2 years and 11months old when she made her debut. She is the youngest in history to become a children’s singer in Japan and she is getting a lot of attention from the world.

Nonochan is a popular children’s song singer in Japan. She won the silver prize at the age of 2 years and 5 months old in the children’s section at the Nursery Rhyme Children’s Song Contest in 2020. She sang the song “Inu no Omawari san”. She was the youngest in history to receive a silver prize in that contest.

Once her video was released on YouTube, she got so much attention from viewers. People loved her performance with comments like, “She is too cute!”, “She makes me feel so relaxed” and she became popular especially in Japan and Korea. Her YouTube channel has been viewed more than 100 million times and she is getting great attention from inside and outside of Japan.

To commemorate the release of this album, the music video and behind the scenes clips of 3 songs from the album have been released on YouTube.

The three songs released are, “Marching March”. “Kirin san’ and “Buta kun Kaidou wo Iku”. These songs are all very popular and well known children’s songs in Japan. The music video of each song has two sections, one is her recording clip at the studio and the other one is a behind-the-scenes clip.

In the music video, Nonochan shows her professional singer’s side. Her fans will enjoy her serious facial expressions and active full body movement along to the rhythm while she sings her song. The fans can enjoy the video showing many different sides of her.

There is a great buzz around her worldwide due to her performance. The reason why she got this attention is because of her cute size, her sweet voice and also her Japanese phrases in the songs which are very catchy.

There are more than 1.2 million videos that have been created using the song “Tokei no Uta” on TikTok. Outside of Japan people mainly from South East Asia including Indonesia and Thailand have been uploading their videos on TikTok daily.

The phrase, “Konnichiwa, Sayonara”, which are both typical Japanese greetings, may have triggered its popularity. And also, Nonochan’s simple dance choreography for the song got much attention.

In March, a song called “Baby Shark Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat feat”. Nonochan has been released as an Apple Arcade version. Nonochan is singing this worldwide popular childrens’ song “Baby Shark”. “Baby Shark, Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat limited version” is now available on the app. Nonochan is expanding her activity globally and her fans around the world can’t stop watching her!
