This is probably one of the most brilliantly-conceived non-ecommerce mobile app that we have today – SALLY short for Shopping Ally or Shopping Alalay is your personal on-board assistant via the new Puregold Mobile App.
The app has three (3) important features that takes grocery shopping to the next level!
Cartless Shopping
It’s simple just download the app, register and bring it with you at any Puregold branch.
Go around and look for the items you need, using the app SCAN the barcode of the items you’d like to purchase, input the quantity and then it automatically adds to your virtual cart.
CHECKOUT when you’re done shopping and upon confirmation of orders, assigned pickers and baggers will put together your basket, while you wait. Or you can come back to pick up at a later time.
This app gives you the convenience to do other things instead of hauling around a cart and waiting in a long line.
Re-Order Feature
Another feature of the app is that you can reorder products from the Order History. This is ideal for all negosyantes or SMEs (Small-to-Medium Enterprise) who need to replenish stocks. You can also get real-time responses about order status and other grocery-related inquiries through the ASK SALLY in-app chat.
Order Anytime – Pick Up Anywhere
Using the app you can SCAN barcodes of your items or use the item search functionality anytime and anywhere and schedule the pick-up at a Puregold store of your choice.
The Puregold Mobile also offers flexible payment methods. You can choose to pay cash at the store or use your credit/debit card. GCASH option is also available.
They’ll also be including a delivery feature soon.
I’ve tried the Puregold Mobile App during its media launch at the Puregold Shaw branch last Friday (January 31) with celebrity brand ambassador Luis Manzano and have used the app a couple of times already in other branches and have found it really very convenient.
At the very least, this app also helps you with budgeting since you get a real-time accurate shopping calculator as well.
