TRiDENT, the band taking Japan’s next-generation female rock scene by storm, has officially made their long-awaited major debut on November 5 (Wed), with the release of their first EP BLUE DAWN. On the same day, the music video for the EP’s lead track “Reimei no Uta” was unveiled.

This track was composed and arranged by Nob of MY FIRST STORY, with lyrics written by ASAKA (Vo/Gt) — a powerful creative lineup. The song is a rock anthem befitting their major debut, expressing the resolve of those who continue to move forward while holding onto hope, even amid darkness.

The music video was directed by Naoki Arima, a rising creator known for his emotionally charged visual storytelling, skillfully combining cinematography, editing, and VFX with rich textures and expressive lighting. Arima’s unique visual design and color direction bring to life TRiDENT’s core theme — “BLUE DAWN,” the moment of awakening.

The video contrasts intense red-toned performance scenes with monochrome imagery. In the performance shots, beams of light pierce the darkness, symbolizing the band’s journey toward a new dawn. Meanwhile, the monochrome narrative scenes depict a man who has lost his light and a woman who guides him — serving as a symbolic portrayal of dawn (reimei). As their emotions

and hopes intertwine, the final moments shift from monochrome to color, representing the exact instant of daybreak. True to its title, meaning “dawn,” TRiDENT has finally reached their own daybreak as a band — a new story begins. Keep an eye on these three as they continue to evolve across both the rock and anime worlds.
