The latest edition of this inspiring exhibit was recently unveiled at the Manila Hotel’s Maynila Ballroom, brought to life with the support of key partners: the Department of Tourism (DOT) and HUAWEI. The event was a vibrant display of advocacy, art, and innovation.

What makes this exhibit truly special is that every single image was captured using a smartphone, proving that incredible photography is accessible to everyone. The featured photographers—a talented group including Gab Mejia, Jim De Ramos, and Manila Bulletin’s own John Louie Abrina, Jaime Misalucha Jr., and Santi San Juan—used the latest HUAWEI Pura 80 Series to capture stunning details and vibrant colors.
Professional photographer and National Geographic Explorer Gab Mejia shared his journey and how the smartphone’s cutting-edge technology helped him capture the essence of our country. “Using the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra allowed me to be really versatile and dynamic in how it just integrates and flows with the craft I have as a photographer,” he explained. A special feature also showcased the captivating work of world-renowned artist Kublai Millan, who presented his stunning images taken overseas.
