Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. recently held a highly anticipated launch event at the luxurious Raffles Makati, where they proudly unveiled two cutting-edge high-end full-frame mirrorless cameras: the EOS R5 Mark II and the EOS R1. These remarkable additions to their Philippine product lineup are designed to meet the needs of professional photographers and enthusiasts alike, showcasing Canon’s commitment to innovation and excellence in imaging technology. The event attracted a wide range of attendees eager to learn more about these state-of-the-art cameras that promise to elevate the photography experience to new heights.
High performance is the name of the game for the EOS R5 Mark II. The EOS R5 Mark II inherits the best and innovates from the original EOS R5 with all-around features for enhanced image quality and shooting efficiency.

The EOS R5 Mark II is faster, better, smarter, equipped with a 45-megapixel sensor, 8K 60P RAW recording. and next-generation Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system. This system leverages the Accelerated Capture image processing system’s powerful processing speed and power to achieve AF and subject detection performance surpassing that of the EOS R3. The 10-bit Canon Log 2 makes for more vivid color reproduction and seamless integration with the Cinema EOS workflow.
“The EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II are meant to be the perfect choice for professionals who want to capture dynamic and vibrant images and video.
