Investing in the future of sustainable packaging and processing through technology, innovation and thought leadership is this year’s ProPak Philippines overall theme. The 5th edition of the country’s only event dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations in packaging and processing essential for the advancing of the Philippine economy.
Informa Markets Asia Vice President Ian Roberts mentioned in his welcoming remarks that for the first time ever, ProPak Philippines will be bringing in the award-winning Packaging Innovation Showcase which features prestigious recognitions such as the AsiaStar Packaging Awards and the renowned Packaging Innovation and Design Awards. The event will also debut the Pinyapel Packaging initiative by the Design Center of the Philippines.
Asian Packaging Federation President Comm. Joseph Ross Jocson on the other hand said that “Sustainability in the packaging and processing industry is no longer a trend, it is a necessity.”
The 5th edition of ProPak Philippines has attracted over 250 exhibiting companies from 25 countries including the international pavilions from Italy and Taiwan. The three day event that starts today is expected to welcome over 12,000 trade buyers.
This year’s event will also feature over 40 industry-focused conference and seminars in collaboration with the Australasian Institute of Packaging, Philippine Alliance for Recycling and Materials Sustainability, Prestige Paper Products, and many more.
Also present during the opening ceremony is DTI Secretary Cristina Roque who expressed her full support to the vision of ProPak Philippines.
ProPak Philippines 2025 is held at the World Trade Center Philippines from February 12 to 14. Admission is free.
