Visas and tons of flights mean it’s time to plan your trip to Japan! The land of endless discovery has so much to offer and explore. This year, the Japan National Tourism Organization Manila Office (JNTO) invested in a booth at the PTAA Travel Tour Expo 2024. It was a smashing success and the Visit Japan Pavilion was crowded with interested travelers itching to get their feet on the road.

Throughout the event, visitors were treated to freebies from all over the world and performances from different pavilions. The Visit Japan Pavilion was a stand out in the offerings, it was artfully designed with booths incorporated into the larger structure. The look was inspired by “haru” or spring. The entire display was decked out in cherry blossom details as spring in Japan is synonymous with sakura.

The Visit Japan Pavilion was packed with activities for visitors of all ages. There was a memory game, an origami booth, and several performances sponsored by JNTO. Companies like Meiji gave away goodies, and local tourism organizations from Japan rewarded every “follow” or “like” on social media with vouchers and deals.

There are so many things to do in Japan that it’s easy to get overwhelmed! With everything you can taste, hear, and experience in the land of endless discovery it’s hard to know where to get started, so getting the inside scoop was invaluable to many interested visitors.

The exhibitors this year were the prefectures of Fukui and Gifu, as well as the city of Sapporo. Travel partners included the Tobu Group, East Nara Nabari Tourism, JR Hokkaido, and Railway Trip in Kansai. J. CLAIR Singapore, established by Japanese local governments and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication, also had a booth.

Other partners and sponsors were the Mitsui Outlet Parks or Premium OutletsⓇ Japan – their giveaways were perfect for the shoppers among the visitors. For those who are more interested in a good cocktail and fantastic views, the Portom International Hokkaido, was also an exhibitor.

The Visit Japan Pavilion at the Tourism Travel Expo was the perfect way to immerse visitors in Japanese culture. It really encapsulated the vast range of offers Japan has available to travelers looking for a unique adventure.

There’s so much to Japan that it’s difficult to concentrate everything into one display, but the Visit Japan Pavilion was an Instagrammable success! Many visitors were enticed to drop by, play games, and even write their names in katakana. The PTAA Travel Tour Expo 2024 was an excellent start to the year. Eager visitors came from all over to seek out deals and activities and the Visit Japan Pavilion, this year, really delivered.
