JC REGINO has just released his 2nd song under GMA Music titled “Tama Na Sa ‘Kin Ikaw” – a song written by his uncles Vingo and Jimmy most popularly known as the APRIL BOYS.
Fans are in for a treat because TAMA NA SA KIN IKAW is a “kilig” love song that has that signature April Boys tempo and melody from start to finish. Vingo and Jimmy Regino did not only penned the lyrics for the song but also lent their harmonious vocals during the recording – making this their second long distance collaboration with the younger Regino. The first was with the song IDOLO which JC Regino wrote and released to pay tribute to the fans of his father APRIL BOY REGINO right after his passing.
“Ang song po na Tama Na Sa ‘Kin Ikaw, ibig sabihin you’re more than enough for me, ikaw lang sapat na. Pinapakita po doon ang pagmamahal ng isang tao na kahit kalian hindi niya ito ipagpapalit at hindi niya sasaktan ang taong mahal niya. Para to sa mga nagliligawan pa lang, bagong mag-asawa or kahit yun mga magkasama pa rin hanggang sa kanilang pagtanda.”

In a recent media conference, JC Regino thanked GMA Music for giving him a second chance at doing what he loves the most and to help him fulfill the dreams of his late father and continue as well the legacy of the April Boys in the Philippine music industry.
JC also said he doesn’t mind if people say that he’s just imitating the styles of his dad, because aside from being his father, April Boy is also his mentor and idol!
