The Clash Season 2 third placer Jeniffer Maravilla revealed that she chose the song “Alimuom” to be her debut single because the title sounded ‘mysterious’ – the song reached the top 2 spot on iTunes when it was released last February 3.

Jeniffer Maravilla hails from Malabon and she joined the second season of ‘The Clash’ where Jeremiah Tiangco was crowned as the grand winner.

Alimuom was written by Ann Margaret Figueroa and Jeniffer recalls how the song felt like a perfect fit for her. An inspiring track with soulful instrumentals that evoke a cultural vibe.

Ang ‘Alimuom’ kasi, ‘yun ‘yung umuusbong after the rain, it symbolizes rain.
