Former TREASURE member MASHIHO, who recently announced his solo debut as an artist, will release digital singles for three consecutive months starting in June. The first track, “Just the 2 of us,” will be available for streaming on the 26th of June. Co-written by MASHIHO, the upbeat and refreshing tune is perfect for summer. The lyrics focus on his gratitude towards his fans who have supported his musical journey.
The second track is scheduled for release on July 17, and the third on August 28.
MASHIHO, whose full name is Takata Mashiho, is a Japanese singer and dancer who gained prominence as a member of the South Korean boy group TREASURE. TREASURE was formed by YG Entertainment through the reality survival show “YG Treasure Box,” which aired in 2018. He was born on March 25, 2001, in Japan.
In TREASURE, he was known for his powerful dance skills, strong stage presence, and vocal abilities. He contributed to the group’s success with his performances in their music releases and live shows. Mashiho, like other members of TREASURE, played a significant role in the group’s rise in the K-pop industry.
However, it’s important to note that as of November 2022, Mashiho officially left TREASURE and YG Entertainment. The company announced that his departure was due to health issues and the need for him to prioritize his recovery and personal well-being.
