Acer Dominated PH Market in Both the Consumer and Gaming Notebook Categories

Acer led the Philippine consumer and gaming notebook market in 2024 with a 35.7% share, according to GfK data. Acer dominates the Philippine notebook market, holding a 34.2% share in consumer notebooks and a 40.6% share in gaming notebooks, representing one in every three laptops sold in the country.

Key growth drivers were best-value offerings, broad sales coverage, and strategic marketing. Acer’s agility in adapting to trends and leveraging brand ambassadors like SB19 and G22 resonated with young consumers.

Acer also solidified its market leadership in the gaming category with Predator Gaming.  The brand has always focused on growing the esports community through events like the Asia Pacific Predator League.

“These initiatives have built stronger brand equity, resulting in customers recognizing and trusting Acer and its products. For 2025 and beyond, our consumers can only expect the best of what we can offer,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Acer Philippines Managing Director.
