2021 Year of the Metal Ox

In a recently held intimate online media conference, Feng Shui Queen Marites Allen advises everyone to “Move Forward” and to take all the opportunities that the 2021 Year of the Metal Ox will present us and use it not only to survive but to thrive!

Marites Allen has been advocating feng shui for close to two decades in the Philippines and internationally. She is the first Filipina to be awarded the prestigious title of “Master in Feng Shui” by the International Feng Shui Association in 2013.

In compliance with health protocols mandated by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the 16th Feng Shui Convention to welcome the Year of the Metal Ox will be conducted online in London where she is now based, and will be streamed live in Manila, Tokyo, Sydney, New Zealand, Qatar, UAE, and other European cities on December 19, 2020.

As is the norm in her previous annual events, Ms. Allen will present different feng shui indications for the year that impact businesses and personal lives, suggestions on how to harness energies to attract prosperity, and many more tips on how to make the most of the Year of the Metal Ox, which starts on February 12, 2021 and ends on January 31, 2022.

Among other things, Ms. Allen will discuss:

  • promising prospects that can be harnessed for your personal and business success
  • negative indications that should be feng shui-managed to ease your path to prosperity
  • lucky and unlucky locations for the year; how to enhance or control them to your advantage
  • mindfulness practices to help you live a vibrant and happier life
  • many more tips and insights on how to make the most of the new year

Like in previous events, this year’s webinar will have popular media personality, the King of Talk Dr. Boy Abunda, as Ms. Allen’s co-host. There will also be special numbers from Asia’s Got Talent finalist Ms. Gerphil Flores and other surprise celebrity appearances.

2021 Year of the Metal Ox

In light of the challenges posed by the pandemic year that was 2021, Ms. Allen sees the Year of the Metal Ox as a period that requires new strategies to not just survive, but more importantly, to thrive. Somehow, the old formula of striving or working hard to succeed may not be enough for most people.

The Feng Shui Queen also announced during the online conference the Lucky and Unlucky sectors for 2021:

Unlucky Sectors

  • Southeast – MISFORTUNE STAR (Dragon, Snake)
  • North – ILLNESS STAR (Rat)
  • Southwest – ARGUMENT STAR (Sheep, Monkey)
  • Northwest – ROBBERY AND VIOLENCE STAR (Boar, Dog)

Lucky Sectors

  • East – ROMANCE & TRAVEL STAR (Rabbit)
  • Northeast – PROSPERITY STAR (Ox, Tiger)
  • South – VICTORY STAR (Horse)
  • Center – WINDFALL STAR
  • West – WEALTH STAR (Rooster)

Marites Allen also announced in her Facebook Page highlights of the fortune forecast for all the Animal Signs.

Aside from consulting for top companies, she is also the President and CEO of Frigga Charmed Life, a unique fashion brand that incorporates feng shui principles into home, office, and personal use. Frigga is designed by a renowned London fashion team, with items sold in its own boutiques in Manila and Cebu and online through www.frigga.co.uk. Frigga ships to 16 countries today. She has cultivated her wide following by generously sharing her feng shui expertise via different platforms: as host of her former TV show, annual conventions, mall talks, self-authored books, radio and TV guestings, and other social media activities. Her annual feng shui convention to usher in the new lunar year is a much-awaited event in Manila and other Asian cities.

When asked about CoViD 19 and those saying that Feng Shui is a scam because it did not predict the global effects of the pandemic, Ms. Allen has this to say:

“We didn’t see the pandemic coming, we are not fortune tellers, we are Feng Shui masters.”

“Life, post-COVID, requires making peace with uncertainties but being ready with ingenious preparations and plans of actions,” she says.

This is what she hopes to share with her audience in her December 19 event.

She notes that the past year allowed us time and space to be alone and contemplate on what really matters in life. Thus, aside from necessary feng shui interventions, Ms. Allen will introduce wellness and spirituality practices, including pointers on how to do a “letting go” ritual, which must be done on the winter solstice, December 21. “In order for new opportunities and auspiciousness to manifest, it is important that we make room for them by letting go or cleansing our mind, body, and surroundings of stale energies,” she explains.
