According to Shopee Philippines Associate Director Martin Yu, as of the 2nd quarter of 2020, eCommerce transactions in the Philippines have grown to about 27% and as a result of the pandemic, the platform got a 60% increase in the number of brands and MSMEs partners – that is about 18,000 brands in Shopee Mall across the region from the Q2 2019.
