“Aldubidab” Singer-Songwriter KIAN DIONISIO just signed in with GMA Records and he has a self-titled EP out on digital with the carrier single “Pa-Fall.”
Kian Dionisio, a graduate of AB Communication Arts from the University of the East in Caloocan is a former guitar coach at the Pop Music Academy.
I met Kian during a special intimate blog conference held in GMA Network last Wednesday where he talked about his debut album and single while giving us a sample of how his voice works to wow listeners.
Soft, Cool, Calm, Controlled and Soothing – that’s how I would describe Kian Dionisio’s voice. His songs however, sad and full of hugot. All five tracks in the self-titled EP were written by Kian himself.
“Hindi ko alam kung bakit e, masaya naman ako e.. hindi ko alam bakit yun ang lumalabas na songs sa kin, masaya naman sila (listeners) dun, masaya naman ako na malungkot sila.”
Here are the tracks:
- Babalik Ka Pa Ba
- Ako Na Lang Ulit
Here’s the official music video of Pa-Fall:
Kian said that he has already written around 50 songs in total, 20 of which are ready for publishing.
Immediately after graduating from college, Kian took the road less traveled and sought a career as an acoustic performer in bars and restaurants all for the love of his craft.
He was doing gigs at an average of 8x a week or a total of 45 songs a week. A torture to some but it a torture that he loves.
Him having a career in music was no accident in deed – it was a well-deserved accomplishment due to hard work but he did get some help from some angels. It was a friend of his that pitched his works to GMA Network and a couple of months after that he’s now a full-fledged recording artist.
Kian Dionisio will be going around malls and TV shows to promote his single “Pa-Fall” so be sure watch out for him.
Here’s our interview with Kian Dionisio:
His self-titled EP can now be downloaded iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and 160 digital stores worldwide.
