Krispy Kreme Philippines opened its 78th store in the country at the posh Evia Lifestyle Center in Vista City, Las Pinas last Friday!
It’s my first time at Vista City, the newest and probably the farthest Mega Manila community that connects Las Pinas, Muntinlupa and Molino, Cavite via the Daang Hari road which stretches as far as from Alabang to Anabu (Emilio Aguinaldo Hiway) and even to General Trias.
The easiest way to Evia is through the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) exiting the new MCX road – it’s the hiway exit after Filinvest and before Southwoods. You can’t miss it!
The new Krispy Kreme Evia store is very special because it is the 6th 3rd Generation Concept Store in the world and the first here in the Philippines! That’s why all the big bosses of Krispy Kreme were present during the launch led by Ms. Sharon T. Fuentebella, the CEO for Krispy Kreme Philippines, Jim Fuentebella, the Marketing Head for Max’s Group Inc and Mr. Steve Avery, the Senior Director for Krispy Kreme International.
Also present during the event is Senator Cynthia Villar, Krispy Kreme Marketing Manager Ariane Valinton and Max’s Group Inc. Marketing Director Mark Gamboa.
Aside from the new design which exudes a more modern and laid-back feel, the new store also features new enhanced ordering options that highlights the brand’s wide variety of delicious, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts, and its drip coffee and handcrafted caffeine beverages. Krispy Kreme is definitely offering more reasons for its customers to linger at their Evia location.
Krispy Kreme Evia also has its very own doughnut factory, just like in their flagship store at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig.
Here’s a short video of the Grand Opening and Steve Avery’s message to Krispy Kreme fans:
To make the event even more memorable, Krispy Kreme Philippines engaged the public, most especially those living in the South, to a special challenge by offering the world famous GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE tickets to the first, second and third Krispy Kreme customers to line-up for the grand opening.
First in line was Ms. Perly Mojica who stayed for a full 27 hours, she won the Gold Ticket which entitled her to a one year supply of original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The Silver Ticket was given to Ms. Karina Bautista (26 hours) which gave her a 6 Months supply of original glazed doughnuts and a 3-Month supply of original glazed to Bronze Ticket winner Jasmine Mojica who stayed for 20 hours.
Aside from the three determined winners, the first 100 customers also got a month supply of original glazed doughnuts free while the next hundred customers got a box of 6 original glazed doughnuts each.
Krispy Kreme Philippines is part of the Max’s Group Inc., that also includes Pancake House, Teriyaki Boy, Yellow Cab, Sizzlin Steak, Dencio’s, Kabisera, Maple, Jamba Juice and of course Max’s Restaurant and Max’s Corner Bakery.
