Krispy Kreme launches for the first time here in the Philippines the Emoji Magic!
A year-long, 4-part campaign that aims to make your Krispy Kreme doughnuts more fun to eat and even more fun to share!
After bagging the prestigious Mob-Ex 2016 Bronze Award for CRM, Loyalty and Engagement with their Krispy Kreme Philippines App, here comes another new and first innovation from the local franchise of the world-renowned doughnut brand.
Emojis are small digital images or icons used to express an idea or emotion. They are often used in social media to convey various instant thoughts and feelings and now through the Krispy Kreme Emoji Magic, you can now express what you feel right now through sweet and delicious doughnuts!
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Emojis are available in these following designs:
- Kiss Me
- Strawberry Sprinkles
- Hot Cup
- Thumbs Up
For an assorted doughnut pack with 3 Emojis, pay only an additional 50 Pesos. Extra Emojis costs 5 Pesos each.
For a Create-Your-Own-Box of 9 Doughnuts pay only 495 Pesos.
Krispy Kreme Marketing Manager Ariane Valinton said that they will introduce more Doughnut Emojis when they launch the campaign in different locations and in different seasonal themes. I am guessing they’ll have one for “Summer”, “Halloween” and “Christmas.” 🙂
To launch the Krispy Kreme Emoji Magic campaign, Krispy Kreme turned the 9th Avenue end of Bonifacio High Street, BGC last Saturday (February 20) into an Emoji Park filled with fun activities to share with families and friends.
Kids (and adults) were able to play the Catch The KK Emojis Interactive Wall Game where participants can win a Krispy Kreme T-Shirt instantly. You choose your design and they’ll print it for you at the Shirt Printing area.
The Design Your Own KK Emoji Doughnut and Design Your Krispy Kreme Doughnut booths allows guests to be a little more creative by giving them a chance to dunk their own doughnuts to a swirling chocolate syrup, put on sprinkles or design it with the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Emojis that you like.
They also have a Nail Art Booth and a Face Paint Booth in the park.
The official launch was headed by Krispy Kreme’s business unit manager Arnel Yllana, MGI chairperson Sharon T. Fuentebella and Krispy Kreme APAC Marketing Director Carlo Fajardo.
Hosted by Riki Flores, the first-ever Krispy Kreme Emoji Magic launch was also graced by celebrities Kaila Estrada, Helga Krapf, and Asia’s Next Top Model finalist Katarina Rodriguez.
Venice Film Festival award-winning director Pepe Diokno also screened a short film about love called “Sweet Somethings.”
It was a fun afternoon at the Krispy Kreme Emoji Park, I really enjoyed the idea of putting Emojis on doughnuts. It makes the delicious treat even more fun to share. I can’t wait to see what Emojis they will come out next!
