Fresh from her team-up with Ken Anderson in “Sky: My Robot Prince”, the sweet, pretty and very funny Artista Academy runner-up CHANEL MORALES is back in TV5 Wattpad Presents (and this is a mouthful) “Secretly In A Relationship With A Gangster” and with two new leading men – MARK ROQUE and newcomer JOSHUA OUANO.
Based on the popular wattpad novel of the same title by author Sojuanjell, Wattpad Presents: Secretly In A Relationship With A Gangster (SIARWAG) is a thrilling love story about Yuka (Chanel) and her secret boyfriend Daryl (Mark), a fierce campus gangster.
Yuka and Daryl met and fell in love, but what makes their love story so striking is their need to protect each other even if it means hiding their relationship. What follows is a compelling love story about two opposite individuals who have to follow their heart and evade everyone around them at the same time. Can they withstand the pressure from the snooping public? How far will Yuka and Daryl go in protecting their relationship?
Wattpad Presents: Secretly In A Relationship With A Gangster is Chanel Morales’ 4th Wattpad Series and has been paired with other leading men like Akihiro Blanco and Kean Cipriano. However, this is the first time that she’s going to be at the helm of the show having two newcomers following her lead.
Mark Roque, the brother of Dominic Roque, debuts in showbiz as a support in Wattpad Presents: Marry You with Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert. This is his second Wattpad Presents appearance and his very first lead role. During the interview, Mark admitted that he still has a lot to improve with his acting and on stage (or on set) confidence.
Joshua Ouano started with modelling and is a 3rd year marketing student in Cebu. Joshua entered modeling and grabbed the opportunity to enter showbiz and acting with the aim of improving his self-confidence.
When asked about what they think about Chanel Morales, the two was quick to say that the young actress is very charming and hard working. Mark said that Chanel becomes even more beautiful when you get to know her better. Joshua added that Chanel has been very helpful to hem on the set and said that if given a chance to do another Wattpad Presents episode again, she would still choose Chanel as a partner.
During the media launch of Wattpad Presents: Secretly In A Relationship With A Gangster last Thursday, Chanel said that she wished to fulfill her parents dreams for her. She was already dancing and performing at an early age of three, and dreams of performing on stage, coming out with her very own album and concert someday.
Chanel Morales also said that she’s very happy to be part of TV5’s new weekend variety show ‘Happy Truck Ng Bayan’ where she will be able showcase her performer side on stage.
