Kate Upton was named as People Magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive – the very first to ever received the title!
People Magazine made the announcement during the inaugural at Beverly Hilton Hotel together with other winners like Karlie Kloss for Model of the Year, Kate Hudson for Celebrity Role Model of the Year and Gwen Stefani for Style Icon of the Year among others.
Barely a month ago, People Magazine also awarded actor Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as their Sexiest Man Alive for 2014.
22 year-old Kate Upton made her first appearance on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2011 and was named Rookie of the Year. Born in Michigan as Katherine Elizabeth Upton, she was the first model to be featured solo on two covers of Sports Illustrated Magazine (2012 and 2013).
Kate Upton aside from modelling for brands and other magazines also appeared in the movies Tower Heist (2011), The Three Stooges (2012) and The Other Woman (2014). You may have also seen her in Lady Antebellum’s ‘Bartender’ music video.
