Barbie Forteza, Krystal Reyes and Joyce Ching joined Children’s Hour during their field trip at the Mind Museum last week. The three main cast of the remake of GMA’s phenomenal weekend drama series ANNA KARENINA attended the short program prepared for the kids of Children’s Hour.
Children’s Hour is a non-profit initiative centered on promoting education for all, health and nutrition and child protection. They have, since 1999, partnered with various NGOs and educational institutions to address these goals.
The three young stars arrived after the kids have toured inside the two-floored science facility at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. It was also an exciting day for Barbie, Krystal and Joyce since this is their first time to visit The Mind Museum just like the Children’s Hour kids.

An awesome day indeed for the all the kids who participated in the field trip, they not only got to experience a 3 dimensional science tour filled with interesting facts but they also got to meet and greet in person three of the country’s most talented young stars.

After the mind museum tour, I joined Barbie, Krystal, Joyce and the rest of the GMA Artist Center team for lunch at the Singapore Food Republic also in BGC. Had the chance to talk to the three about their new show ANNA KARENINA.

ANNA KARENNINA is Krystal Reyes (Anna), Barbie Forteza (Karen) and Joyce Ching (Nina). The new show which will start on June 3 (Monday) after 24 Oras on GMA Telebabad is a remake of the 90’s iconic weekend drama which originally stars Antoinette Taus, Sunshine Dizon and Kim Delos Santos. The remake also stars tween heartthrobs Derrick Monasterio, Julian Trono and Hiro Peralta.
Aside from the tweens, the new show will also feature an impressive line-up of veteran actors and actresses that will surely spice up the story even more. Leading the casts are Sandy Andolong, Yul Servo, Neil Ryan Sese, Juan Rodrigo, Valerie Concepcion with Allan Paule, Ana Roces, Maybelyn dela Cruz, Maureen Larrazabal, Alicia Mayer, Kathleen Hermosa, Joanna Marie Tan and with the special participation of Yasmien Kurdi as Maggie Monteclaro, the mother of Anna Karenina.
From the original concept of RJ Nuevas and directed by Gina Alajar.
