The Philippine entertainment industry suffered another great loss tonight with the passing of award winning Movie and TV Director MARILOU DIAZ ABAYA. She’s 57 years old. As Director, she has received numerous local and international awards and recognition. She was also nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize and her 1998 masterpiece “Jose Rizal” remained to be one of the most recognized and most exhibited Filipino film worldwide.
