This post is long overdue!
Last 11th of May, I learned that our good friend Ate Lanie was here visiting the Philippines. She’s based in Canada with her family but she went back to the country for a few weeks vacation and she called up Tam, and set up a dinner date because she wanted to see us before she leave for Canada.
I think this was my second or third time to dine at Super bowl? I really can’t remember. But what I remembered was the great tasting food that they serve.
There were a lot of ‘chika’ and other stories behind the dinner date but let me focus on our over-all dining experience. I believe, not much has changed since my last visit to the restaurant. It was their branch at Glorietta 4 that I last visited.
I am a self-confessed lover of Chinese fried rice. I am constantly looking for the best Yang Chow Fried Rice and have found only three restaurants to deliver the best tasting yet, one is the now extinct Chopsticks Restaurant – I used to dine at their SM North EDSA and Greenhills branch. Another restaurant that has a wonderful tasting Yang Chow is a food place at the Estero de Ongpin – I forgot the name because it was such a long time since I’ve been there. I used to eat and bring friends there, back when the estero is still not that polluted and better smelling. The last one is Super Bowl of China. Of course, the search is not yet over and there are still a lot of Chinese restaurant out there to do some taste-testing.
Anyway here’s what we ordered:
