LSY Productions in cooperation with the Philippine National Police (PNP) through the Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) announced the airing of SALUDO, a 13-episode drama anthology series on PTV4.

The announcement was made earlier at the PCRG lobby in Camp Crame with producers Leonora Sy and Dennis Macalintal together with PCRG Head PCSupt. Rhodel Sermonia who will co-host the series with Leonora Sy.

SALUDO is an advocacy hero-serye that will present inspiring life events, interesting chronicles and the least-told stories of people that highlights heroism and good deeds of well-meaning, public servants, as well as individuals and personalities who have committed to make a difference.

Sy said that for the first two episodes, SALUDO will feature the stories of former PNP Chief Ronald Bato Dela Rosa and his fight against illegal drugs plus the very inspiring story of a former drug dependent who is now a Pastor.

Playing the role of Bato in the pilot episode is veteran actor Polo Ravales.

Polo shared during the presscon that it was a surreal experience playing the character of the PNP Chief in SALUDO and then as one of his biggest enemy in the upcoming movie “BATO” opposite Robin Padilla who gets the titular role of Gen. Dela Rosa.

SALUDO will also be the first real acting break for 5 GuwaPulis members – Willy Quinto, Alexander Po, Jeff Payumo, Richard Pangilinan and Mister International Neil Perez.

Also present during the media event is the series’ director Bahjo Cabauatan. Not present is Onin Estrella who is also one of the directors of the series.

SALUDO premieres on January 27 (Sunday) 8 – 9pm on PTV4 with LIVE streams on the Saludo FB Page and YouTube Channel.
