End-of-Summer Staycation at Le Charme Suites Subic

I was so impressed with Le Charme Suites Subic and really had a wonderful time staying there last year that I decided to go back and bring the whole family there last month.

It was a very busy first half of the year for all of us and we’ve never had the chance to go on a proper summer vacation this year so our visit last month was like our last chance to do so.

Well technically it was not a summer vacation already since it was raining the whole time that we were there but that didn’t dampen our spirit to make that short visit to Subic a memorable one. And just like what I’ve confidently expected, Le Charme Suites (and Subic) did not disappoint.

To sum up everything, the hotel’s friendly and very professional staff made sure that we are well taken cared of – from check in to check out. The hotel and its facilities is a dream for family staycationers like us.

I was so thrilled to see that the “Game of Thrones” styled seat from last year’s Halloween event is still inside the hotel lobby.

Aside from the comfortable stay in their huge rooms, the other thing that we wanted to do is to take a dip in their pool at the roof deck. And so even though it was raining non-stop, and the pool was almost icy cold, we still pushed through with that plan. Thank goodness that we didn’t get sick doing that.

In the evening, they tried out the spa and massage services at Tai Chi Wellness Spa located right beside the hotel entrance.

For dinner, we decided to go and check out the fastfood restaurants at PureGold Duty Free Mall located just a couple of blocks away from Le Charme.

The following day, we had our breakfast at Mi Tapas, Le Charme Suites in-hotel restaurant.

And then, my two kiddos and their mom tried the hotel’s in-house KTV (Videoke Room) while I was left in the room trying to get a couple of work done before we check out. Thank goodness also for the hotel’s strong Wi-Fi.

No visit to Le Charme Suites Subic is complete without tasting the delicious Milk Tea at NaiCha and visiting the Royal Duty Free shop just across the hotel building. So we did that after check out.

Despite the gloomy weather, our visit to Subic was super fun and memorable, thanks to Le Charme Suites.

Le Charme Suites Subic is located at the La Terraza Building, 1131 Palm Street Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo. It is actually the first hotel you’ll see after exiting the Subic-Tipo Expressway to Rizal Highway and Argonaut.

Aside from Duty Free, Pure Gold and HMR, nearby landmarks includes Subic Bay Yacht Club, Subic Bay Convention Center, Jest Camp which also houses the Magaul Bird Park and Tree Top Adventure.
