SM Supermalls in a special media event yesterday announced their #NationalSuperMomsDay2018 events and promos.
The announcement was made by SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for Marketing Jonjon San Agustin during a casual launch program at Gringo SM MAAX together with real life celebrity SuperMoms Chynna Ortaleza, Princess Velasco and Sandy Andolong who attended the event with her daughter Mariel De Leon.
The celebrity SuperMoms shared during the event their experiences and their greater appreciation for the title as well as for their own moms after becoming one themselves.
Mariel De Leon even shared the family’s most recent ordeal acknowledging the strength of her mom in facing the knowledge that her son (Mariel’s brother) was diagnosed of cancer and that of her (Sandy) own health condition.
SuperMoms come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. And SM Supermalls, through their #NationalSuperMomsDay2018 campaign wishes to pay tribute to the most wonderful person in everyone’s life – our moms.
This mother’s day, SM Supermalls will delight shoppers with fun-filled activities, deals and finds in all 69 malls across the country, so you can treat your moms with loads of wonderful activities and surprises under one roof this year.
“SM has truly become a one-stop destination for families to bond and create special memories together,” Said Jonjon San Agustin. “We want to make this year’s National SuperMoms Day celebration at SM more memorable with awesome experiences and deals for all the strong, hardworking, and loving moms out there,”
When asked for the gift he will be giving to his wife on mother’s day, San Agustin said that he made sure of two important things to happen on May 13 for her wife – one, the whole family will be together (he even threatened to not give one son his allowance if he will not be with them on mother’s day) and two, he made sure that his schedules are free on that day.
Which to me, is a very grand gesture of love and devotion, specially coming from a very busy person like San Agustin.
Now let’s all look at the many activities SM Supermalls has in store for all mallgoers this mother’s day weekend.
From May 4 to 13, you can take mom on a date and let her indulge in the SM’s Treat Feast for Moms Bazaar for gift ideas that include sweet treats, beauty items, flowers, and greeting card.
On Mom’s Day weekend, you can then show how much you appreciate mom by spoiling her with spa treatments with the Wellness Treats for Moms pampering promos.
SM Supermalls also invites all families to celebrate this Mom’s Day weekend (May 12 and 13) by playing the nationwide #SuperMoms Code Hunt, which is part of the ongoing #LetsPlayNowAtSM interactive digital experience campaign.
To play the game, shopper need to look for #SuperMoms Code stickers that will be installed around the mall through the different participating establishments within the promo period. The shopper wuill simply open his/her favorite QR Code Reader/Scanner app and scan the QR Code. Customers can win 500 Pesos and 100 Pesos worth of SM Gift Certificates.
Aside from instant prizes, #SuperMoms Code Hunt participants are qualified to join the Mother’s Month Car Promo that will run from May 12 to May 31, 2018. Deadline for registration of entries is until May 31, 2018 at 9pm.
The #SuperMoms campaign was launched in 2016 to pay tribute and connect with the silent superheroes of the family. Always putting their families first in everything that they do. these are the Super Mommy shoppers who have been largely part of SM’s story over the years.
Aside from all these activities, SM Supermalls also recently launched a special #NationalSuperMomsDay2018 online video that strongly shows what moms do for the family by sending her away for a break. The video is now currently at 1.8M views on Facebook.
