For many people, and even here in the Philippines, SUMMER is the best time of the year!
It is the best time to enjoy the outdoors or frolic in the sun and on the many beautiful beaches all over the country. Sun-loving creatures of all ages making the most of perfect sunrise, clear days and dramatic sunsets doing all sorts of activities that generates a lot of Vitamin D for the body.
But of course, everything done excessively may also produce harm.
While exposure to sunlight has its health benefits, the UV radiation that comes from the sun can also have harmful effects, contributing to skin damage, premature aging, wrinkles, sunspots and sunburn.
The most common and immediately noticeable during summer is of course, sunburn. When this happen, make sure drink plenty of water and to treat the inflammation quickly to reduce the damage to the deeper layers of the skin.
Last week, I was able to learn more about UV rays, sun-damaged skin and how to recover from it through the special “Fresh Summer Treat”early bloggers party held at the dS Cafe, Basement 2 of the Gateway Mall in Araneta Center, Cubao.
Our host during the event was the very lovely Ms Diana Stalder herself joined by her mom and one of the World’s most influential Filipina – Ms Dina Dela Paz-Stalder together with their staff who shared to us how to better take care of our skin and how the Diana Stalder Face, Body, Skin Care treatments help reduce the damage and restore one’s youthful complexion in just 1-2 weeks.
To initiate the healing process, Diana Stalder recommends a combination of their Triple Action Cream and Triple Action Lotion.
Triple Action Cream
The Triple Action Cream whitens and hydrates the skin while reducing the appearance of visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, age spots and unwanted pigmentation. Apply on face and neck at night time.
Triple Action Lotion
The Triple Action Lotion works the same way as its cream variant but this one is made to be applied to the rest of the body morning and evening or as needed.
Now to avoid further sun damage, it is highly recommended that you use their sunscreen daily. Apply the Diana Stalder Sunscreen Cream SPF35, 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 to 4 hours. It is a broad spectrum sunscreen protection containing Titanium Dioxide and Xinc Oxide that physically block rays. These sunscreen agents protect against UVA and UVB rays.
Ultimate Power Peel
With the Diana Stalder Ultimate Power Peel treatment, the texture of the skin is smoothened out by using glycolic acid that remove the outer layer of the damaged skin. Glycolic acid is part of the group of active compounds known as AHA (alpha hydroxy acids), derived from cane sugar. It has the smallest molecules that penetrate the skin deeply and easily, making it the most effective for treating fine lines, acne, blackheads and oiliness. This treatment also effectively helps in visibly reducing acne scars, rough and patchy skin. It also helps in reversing all the signs of skin aging and improves other skin condition like keratosis.
The effects of the treatment can be remarkable but there are also risks involved in using glycolic acid and that is why you only go to experts like the skilled skin therapists of Diana Stalder Face, Body and Skin Care centers to get the most out of this revolutionary procedure.
I would also personally recommend using their collagen soap, it is one of the best soap that I have ever tried.
