Universal Studios in Hollywood announced that the “Stranger Things” Upside Down place is going to be part of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights!
A demogorgon-infested Upside Down maze is definitely going to be the biggest highlight of the theme park.
Universal Studios said:
“From the menacing Hawkins National Laboratory, under the U.S. Department of Energy, to the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights and the eerie Upside Down woods oozing a shower of floating orb-like spores, the chilling new mazes will offer surprising twists and unexpected turns around every corner.”
Universal Studios has collaborated with Netflix and the creators of “Stranger Things” to make the Upside Down Place come to life and ready to be experienced by all the theme park guests. Imagine yourself inside the maze being stalked and chased by dozens of demogorgons, and your only hope is to find the way out.
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is scheduled to start on September 14, 2018.
Netflix has already announced last year a third season for Stranger Things. The Duffer Brothers, creator of the series, revealed that they will focus more on character growth in the next season – and just like with the Harry Potter franchise – giving the main characters “an interesting journey to go on.”
Producers say that it’s going to be bigger in scale, as the series will introduce new characters – just like in season 2 – and explore more on all the questions never answered in the first two seasons.
Who knows, maybe the Mind Flayer would get its revenge on Stranger Things 3.
