LHARBY POLICARPIO who hails from the late night show “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman” was one of the “To The Top” hopefuls who didn’t made the cut – but look at him now, getting acting parts in surefire blockbuster MMFF movies and in on the same project with legends Bossing Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta.
In MEANT TO BEH, the upcoming comedy-drama MMFF comeback entry of Bossing Vic Sotto via OctoArts Films, M-Zet Productions and APT Entertainment, Lharby plays the role of a school bully named Brad. He shoots alongside the other millennial actors in the film like Sue Ramirez, JC Santos, Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t any chance in the film where he could be in on the same frame with Bossing Vic Sotto but he said during our interview with him last Thursday at Cave Tomas Morato, that being considered to play a part in a movie where Bossing is in is already a dream come true for him.
Lharby fully accepts that him, not making it to the final five of “To The Top” is a sign that singing and performing is not yet for him but acting however, is something that he has a full grasp on right now.
Aside from Meant To Beh, Lharby has appeared in “Ika-6 Na Utos” and was one of the actors shortlisted by social media people for the show “My Love From The Star” and currently in the upcoming adaptation of “Boys Over Flowers” – if given a chance, Lharby said that he will consider this as his biggest break and give it all he’s got.
Lharby’s character coming back soon on “Ika-6 Na Utos” is also quite possible, and he’s actually very excited about it.
CATCH Lharby Policarpio in MEANT TO BEH, Showing on December 25 in theaters nationwide.
