There are events place and then there’s CASA IBARRA Grand Party Venue and Catering.

Casa Ibarra

Located along Coral Way near the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Casa Ibarra is a modern Filipino inspired venue accentuated with indigenous materials such as capiz shells, raffia fabric, and T’nalak, which help create its unique identity. Wood and raffia weave are used in abundance to create warmth while balancing it with light-colored walls for the bright interior.

This place is a true showcase of Filipino talent and culture in a modern setting and it was a real pleasure seeing all the corners of this fantastic venue during its grand formal launch last Tuesday (November 21).

Casa Ibarra

Casa Ibarra is the newest from Ibarra’s Party Venues – there are five. The first one was Ibarra’s Garden located in Padre Faura Street in Manila which became an industry forerunner for event venues and catering in the early 2000. Due to the increasing demand of the debut and wedding industry at that time, they expanded their operations in 2004 and established Plaza Ibarra in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. In 2010 and 2011, Bella Ibarra in Quezon Avenue and Villa Ibarra in Tagaytay were introduced.

Each of Ibarra’s venues has its own uniqueness. Bella Ibarra is a timeless and elegant venue, with charming function rooms to suit small and big scale celebrations. Ibarra’s Garden on the other hand, is a classic antique house built in the 1920’s, with a quaint garden inspired by American Art Deco architectures. Plaza Ibarra is a Mediterranean-themed garden set-up combined with elegantly styled ballrooms and a lighted grand staircase. Villa Ibarra is their hotel on the ridge of Tagaytay with a picture-perfect view of Taal Lake.

Now Casa Ibarra is the largest among all the five venues which blends the comfort and simplicity of modern party venues with the traditional feel of a genuine Filipino home.

Here are five things about Casa Ibarra that makes it the most perfect party venue for all kinds of events in Mega Manila.

LOCATION

The most obvious reason to choose Casa Ibarra over other party venues is its location. It’s within walking distance from the entire Mall of Asia complex which includes the MOA Arena, the SMX Convention Center, a Church (Shrine of Jesus the way the truth and the life), the bay area plus dozens of hotels and other entertainment establishments.

VENUES

Casa Ibarra is a two-level venue and houses two function rooms, a grand ballroom and a balcony that can be set-up for outdoor garden wedding ceremony with a fantastic cityscape view.

  • Alegria Function Room (Ground Floor) – 140 pax
  • Hermosa Function Room (Ground Floor) – 140 pax

Casa Ibarra

On the second floor, Sala de Amor, which boasts of 6 huge capiz chandeliers made of approximately 20, 000 capiz shells each. Lighted onyx pillars hold up the whole ballroom, A grand stairway on the side lights up dramatically step by step as a debutante, or a bride and groom, or a special guest make their entrance. The celebrant is also offered a well-appointed private room on the upper floors to prepare.

Sala De Amor alone took over a year and a half to build by some 200 highly skilled workers.

LOBBY

Casa Ibarra’s architecture stands out almost immediately in its rather business-looking environment. The facade has a porte-cochere, where guests can be dropped off safe from the elements.

Upon entering the building, Homage to Monet, a French-Filipino artist Olivia d’Aboville’s specially commissioned artwork for the venue greets visitors with its ethereal beauty. The 11 x 3.5 meter artwork consists of eight panels made of 365 meters of Philippine silk textile. The silk was handwoven in Palawan and Aklan for over three months before being cutom-dyed using the Shibori technique, one of the artist’s signature textile techniques.

FOOD

Casa Ibarra, just like the other venues, is a full-serviced party venue. Catering by Ibarra’s has a wide selection of Western, Mediterranean, Oriental, Spanish and Filipino cuisines that includes their famous Hickory Pork Spare Ribs, Braised Beef Shank and Seafood Paella – which we got to taste during the grand launch last week.

Casa Ibarra

Casa Ibarra offers full-amenities packages to as low as 133,000 pesos.

All of these features combined makes Casa Ibarra the perfect venue for your events and milestones to make it even more memorable.
