The other half of the KrisJoy Kapuso tandem just turned 23 last November 20 and for those who knew KRISTOFFER MARTIN well like his loyal fans, the only way you could get this young actor to celebrate his big day is to surprise him. And so that’s what they did on the 20th with the help of Joyce Ching of course.

But surprisingly, Kristoffer Martin later agreed to a post birthday celebration arranged by his GMA Artist Center family.

And so I was witness to this “not surprise” birthday party for Tuns (as he is fondly called by friends) at CAVE Tomas Morato last Thursday afternoon. It was a simple get-together and KTV session with some of his loyal supporters. He even sang a couple of songs for and with them.

Tuns who started his showbiz journey with Little Big Superstar has been active in the industry for 10 years already. And he is now hungry for more!

Kristoffer is hungry for a lot of things. He misses the big screen and have long wished to be in a worthwhile film project again just like when he did OROS six years ago. And because of this, he is now thinking of producing or co-producing his own film in the future.

While he’s very much happy with what’s happening in his TV acting career right now, he admitted that he’s till hungry for more meaty and edgy roles to portray. Tuns is currently with GMA Primetime’s “Super Maam” as one of the main cast, while he enjoys being with the production, he still dreams of getting more roles that will test the limits of his acting abilities.

Aside from TV projects, Kristoffer is breaking the music industry borders with the upcoming release of his new digital single “Paulit Ulit” which he said could be his first step into becoming a full pledged singer – performer – recording artist. He also said that if everything goes well with his debut single, he would try to include his own original songs.

Not a lot of people know this but Kristoffer Martin sings TV series and movie theme songs also. He sang “I’ll never Go” for the film My Lady Boss, “I’ll Be There” with Julie Anne San Jose for the series Kahit Nasaan ka Man, “Dahil Sa Yo” with Hannah Precillas for Hahamakin Ang Lahat, and “Sa Piling Mo” for Alyas Robin Hood.

“Sa Piling Mo” was also nominated at the recently concluded Awit Awards 2017 for Best Song Written For Movie/TV/Stage Play.

In life, he’s hungry for more substance and that is why while he considers his studies as a life goal, he also sees it equally important to grab opportunities for personal growth outside the four corners of the classroom. He is also eager to take another plunge into entrepreneurship which seems to be the trend for a great majority of stars right now.

But for now, he’s just waiting for his single to come out and push for more acting projects.

Kristoffer Martin’s birthday event was hosted by Arianne Bautista and co-sponsored by Cave and Goldilocks.
