The Zen Institute celebrated its 12th year anniversary with a grand gathering of loyal clients, celebrities, brand ambassadors and friends. Held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in the afternoon of the 25th of October, 2017 (Wednesday), the event also became the venue for the launch of its new signature program “My Journey To Ultimate Wellness.”
Founded and headed by its Medical Director, Dr. Mary Jane “MJ” Torres – The Zen Institute became the pioneer in non-invasive aesthetic procedures here in the Philippines. She has always been an advocate of beauty but only as a result of wellness which explains their tag line “The Art of Beauty Perfected from Within.”
“There are no quick fixes when it comes to beauty. Achieving beauty is an art, a journey of self-improvement, through evidence-based therapy, and commitment to healthy living,” said Dr. MJ Torres.
Hosted by Justin Quirino and Yanah Laurel, the event started with some video messages from The Zen Institute Celebrity Ambassadors and clients like Franco and Ayen Laurel, Giselle Sanchez, Cory Quirino, Mark Nelson, Apples Aberin, RK Bagating, Ting-Ting Cojuangco, Boots Anson Roa and many others.
The Zen Institute also gave away huge raffle prizes to all its loyal clients.
The highlights of the evening were the Q&A with Dr. MJ Torres and a mini fashion show featuring 12 ladies from the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) representing each of the 12 years that The Zen Institute have been in the wellness and beauty industry.
My Journey To Ultimate Wellness
Dr. MJ Torres during the interview explained the 5-Step process involved in the “My Journey To Ultimate Wellness” program:
DiagnoZe – The journey begins with thorough examination, not just for diseases or existing conditions, but also for risk factors, underlying conditions that could potentially lead to disease if not attended to. It involves a multi-disciplinary approach by using a variety of clinical, bio feedback and laboratory techniques to assess each patient completely such as body mass index, hormone tests, oxidative stress test depending on the need.
CleanZe – Often the body’s natural anti-oxidants are not enough to fight the harmful effects of radical imbalance. Prior to any treatments, the body will need to be cleanse first from toxic metals, chemicals, drugs or other harmful substances. Procedures may include colon hydrotherapy, a sublingual cleansing regimen, dietary meal replacements and others.
BalanZe – This process is aimed at the retention or restoration of youthful energy. Levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and other hormones tend to drop between ages 30-40. This program revitalizes the hormones to normal levels using plant based Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). The treatment has been proven to improve sleeping patterns, emotional balance, skin quality, and immune function. As well as enhance vitality and energy.
IntervenZion – Regenerative Cell Therapy is the crown jewel of the My Journey to Ultimate Wellness program. It is a whole new paradigm in anti-aging that counters aging on a cellular level by addressing the root cause which is the slowing down of cell division. RCT repairs, restores and rejuvenates virtually the entire body. The procedure is also complemented with various top-of-the-line aesthetic procedures such as the Resolift non-surgical cosmetic therapy to tighten skin while eliminating lines and wrinkles.
EducaZion – The final step is education where clients are encouraged to eat right, exercise regularly and to take accountability for their own wellness and longevity.
