BELLO! McDonald’s unveils its “Minion-tastic” Despicable Me 3 Happy Meal Toys and Treats!
The third installment of the hit animated film “Despicable Me” will premiere on June 14 here in the Philippines and two weeks before that (May 31 to be exact), movie fans will get to enjoy Despicable Me 3 themed toys with every purchase of a Happy Meal at McDonald’s.
McDonald’s ETON Centris hosted the grand #MinionsAtMcDo party yesterday to announce the great news. They brought out all the works from Minions-approved games and fun activities including Face-Painting, Spinshot Photo, Ball & Cup Game and many others. Plus they have Minion MEL keeping the guests company! It’s like a Minions Festival!
The most exciting part though is the grand reveal of the 10 Despicable Me 3 Happy Meal Toys! And I’m very sure that you’re all excited to know more about them – but first, here’s my short unboxing video:

PLAYFUL MINION
Press his pocket and his tongue sticks out.
CRAB BITE MINION
Lift his arm and his hat pops off.
GROOVIN’ MINION
Press down his head and his arms go up and down.
ROCKET RACER MINION
Pullback the Minion and watch it spin around in a crazy path.
MINION ANTICS
Turn the dial on the back of his head to make the ball and chain spin around.
AGNES’ ROCKIN’ UNICORN
Push Agnes and her unicorn forward and watch them sway back and forth as they roll along.
PUMPING IRON MINION
Levers in the back lift and lower his arms as he pumps iron.
DESPICABLE DUO
Front end drill spins around as the car rolls forward. Lift up top hatch to reveal brothers Dru and Gru.
BANANA BLASTER MINION
Watch this Minion shoot bananas with his launcher.
MINION HYDROCYCLE SURPRISE
A push-along vehicle that opens up to reveal a Minion hiding in the back wheel when the wheel is bumped.
These toys will be available starting May 31, 2017 with every Happy Meal purchase in-store and via Drive-Thru, Take-Out and McDelivery.
But the Despicable Me 3 fun will not stop there!
McDonald’s is also introducing the Despicable Me Trio Meal in Instagram-worthy packaging – It features the NEW Cheesy Burger McDo, Honey Banana McFloat and their World Famous Fries!
Other Minions-approved menu items are also available like the Honey Banana McFloat N’ Fries Combos; Banana Pie ala Mode (sweet Banana Pie topped with vanilla soft serve, drizzled with luscious caramel topping) and the Banana McDip (creamy vanilla soft serve covered in crunchy banana-flavored dip on a blue wafer cone) – available in Dessert Centers and select stores only.

may I ask what is the name of the toy “PLAYFUL MINION” ? TIA
based on what he looks like and the minion characters present in Despicable Me 3 – my best guess is he’s DAVE…. but I am not 100% sure 🙂
