How do you level up your movie viewing experience?

When the first four DVD movies were released 20 years ago (Point of No Return, Blade Runner, Eraser, The Fugitive), the public has predicted the death of movie theaters all over the world. And as the years passed, it seems that it was really moving to that direction especially during the mid of 2000 where video sharing found its way through the internet.

The movie industry however cope up with stricter anti-piracy laws and straight-to-video formats as well as large-screen appealing films.

While movie theaters around the world adapted with 3D and 4D facilities and VIP sections that transformed movie viewing from being an ordinary community amenities to a mall-based lifestyle trend.

But how do you level up the big screen movie watching experience?

Why not watch a movie in Venice, Italy?

Or at least somewhere that resembles or imbibes its romantic atmosphere like the Venice Grand Canal Mall in the posh and growing community of McKinley Hill in Taguig.

Developed by Megaworld Corporation, McKinley Hill is one of its many township properties which includes Eastwood City, Uptown Bonifacio, Forbes Town Center, Newport City and many others.

It features a lot of selfie-worthy backgrounds that instantly transports you to the romantic aura of Italy. You’ll never get tired of the views and you’ll never go hungry because of the many restaurants located at almost every corner of the mall (that doesn’t really looked like a mall).

There are still a lot of vacant stalls but the shops are growing by the days.

Here’s a quick peek of Venice Grand Canal Mall though the photos I took with my two kids:

Why not experience VIP screening?

Located at the 3rd floor of the Venice Grand Canal Mall, the state-of-the art Venice Cineplex opened its doors to the public last December. It features five (5) world-class movie theaters with plush and comfortable seats and equipped with the latest big screen and sound system technology guaranteed to elevate your film viewing experience.

Cinemas 2 and 5 operates with the Dolby Atmos multidimensional surround sound system.

But the most striking and innovative feature of the Venice Cineplex is its VIP Cinema (Cinema 4), a signature of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in its Eastwood, Lucky Chinatown, Newport and Uptown Cinemas.

I personally experienced the VIP Cinema yesterday when I watched Disney’s “Beauty & The Beast” with my two kids who both enjoyed the fully automated and luxurious reclining leather seats and unlimited popcorn and drinks courtesy of its in-theater butler service. So very convenient!

VIP Cinema tickets are sold for 520 pesos. Movie tickets to Venice Cineplex may also be bought online at www.blockbusterseats.com
