Halloween came early for HOOQ Subscribers and their kids as they featured a spHOOQtacular spHOOQy treat last Friday during the 3rd leg of the #HOOQHangouts held at the Globe Iconic Store in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Audiences and their ‘younglings’ came to the venue wearing their sp-HOOQ-eiest costumes to watch the Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis 2006 animated masterpiece – MONSTER HOUSE, one of my favorite Halloween-themed movie that stars the voice of Mitchel Musso (also the voice of Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb), Sam Lerner (The Goldbergs, Project Almanac), Spencer Locke (Resident Evil) and Steve Buscemi who did the voice of Nebbercracker in the film.

I attended the event together with my daughter Sky who is also a big fan of the movie and HOOQ treated us and all the movie watchers with free popcorns, hotdogs and drinks plus some cool Halloween giveaways after the screening.

HOOQ Hangouts is definitely the Philippines’ biggest outdoor cinema event complete with three huge LED screens, beanbags, blankets and cushions for lazy watching. Held in cooperation with Samsung and Globe Live, the event is quickly turning into a monthly weekend BGC tradition.

What’s bigger than the HOOQ Hangouts event?

HOOQ inked a new set of partnerships with the biggest names in family entertainment: Nick Jr., Nickolodeon, Kids Like Us, Hasbro, Turner and MoMedia to bring some of the most popular kids titles into its catalog.

Soon the younger kids can watch Dora The Explorer, Go Diego Go, Paw Patrol, Littlest Pet Shop, and Mr. Bean on their parents’ mobile devices. Fans of Hi-5 and iCarly will also be able to revisit their favorite episodes on the series.
