Dave Bornea and Lindsay De Vera met each other at a GMA Artist Center acting workshop one day and they just zing!
These two young and very talented individuals are being build-up right now to become one the newest Kapuso Love Teams that will warm the hearts of Filipino TV viewers.
You can find them on primetime as Julian (Dave) and Lizzy (Lindsay) in the controversial Dingdong Dantes action-drama series ALYAS ROBIN HOOD.
Dave also known as Chat Bornea is a finalist of the 2012 Mister Pogi competition in the noontime show Eat Bulaga. He is also one of the top picks of Starstruck Season 6 and is now part of the boy group ONE UP. Aside from singing and dancing, Dave is now exploring new avenues to nurture his acting skills.
Lindsay also known as Lindt Johnston started in the entertainment industry at a very early age doing commercials and starring in a local fastfood-sponsored kiddie show called “Jollitown.” Lindt resurfaced on the showbiz radar as Lindsay in last year’s GMA TV series “Pari Ko’y.” Lindsay is now 16 years old and just ripe for picking – more doors are now opening for this pretty young star-in-the-making Kapuso talent.
We recently caught up with the pair at a special snack-time and coffee-making session in Caffe Pascucci in Glorietta, Ayala Center Makati.
Now fondly called by fans as #DaveLin, Dave and Lindsay shared during our chat last week that the two really get along well on and off camera – they both are “PaBEBEs” as they have endearingly described each other during the casual interview.
I asked Dave and Lindsay the qualities that they are looking for in a dream girl (or boy) that their Kapuso love team now possessed and their answers would definitely thrill fans (go and watch the video).
Dave said that what she loves about Lindsay is that she’s very mature for her age (the way she talk, think and act) – so I guess, Dave prefers older women or more mature women then.
Lindsay on other hand, describes Dave as trustworthy, honest, thoughtful and sweet – and that’s some of the qualities that she looks for in a dream guy. I just thought that she’s still too young to go looking for that dream guy though – so career and studies first I guess. That’s what I would advice her if I was in the position to give her a couple of career suggestions. 🙂
Anyway, one thing is for sure. Based on my initial observation, the two would really make a great on-screen couple and I would like to see how their tandem builds up OR burst out to take the showbiz world by storm. That would be a very hard task to do, but if they can pull this off – theirs could be next big moniker that the crowd will chant in the future.
