A Bollywood Invasion in Manila!
CIGNAL together with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, one of Asia’s leading media and entertainment companies recently launched the very first PURE 24/7 Tagalized Bollywood Channel here in the Philippines – Zee Sine over at Cignal TV Channel 19!
The media launch was held at the Monet 3 Ballroom of Novotel Manila in Araneta Center, Cubao hosted by 2014 Binibining Pilipinas Tourism and Miss Grand International 2015 2nd Runner-up Parul Quitola Shah, who is of Filipino-Indian Descent.
With a film vault containing the world’s largest collection of Bollywood movies (over 3,500 titles), Zee Sine promises to entice Filipino audience with world class Indian entertainment that are sure to inspire the hearts and souls of Pinoys everywhere.

Also present during the launch is Cignal TV 1st VP/Head of Sales Robert Galang and Zee Entertainment CEO for Middle East and Asia Pacific Mukund Cairea.
Joining the heads of Cignal and Zee Entertainment during the launch are two of India’s most prominent actors: Kunal Kapoor (Veeram) and Amyra Dastur (Anegan).
The two were quite excited to see their films dubbed in Tagalog and wonders what they might sound like.
Kunal (38 years old) made his film debut in the 2005 movie “Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities” and has been active ever since. His latest Veeram, is the Indian adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Amyra on the other hand is right now doing a project with internationally acclaimed actor Jackie Chan for the movie Kung Fu Yoga which is scheduled for release in China on January 2017.
Mumbai or formerly Bombay, India is one of the world’s biggest film and entertainment production cities in terms of movies produced and ticket sales and its global brand, Bollywood, is well known for its outstanding films with stories and themes that give audiences a taste of the vibrant and colorful Indian culture.
With Zee Sine, Filipinos will enjoy a 24/7 treat to Bollywood movies showcasing memorable and exciting productions, song and dance numbers, love triangles, comedy, action, and romance, all dubbed in Tagalog!

Hit movies like “Barfi”, “Don 2”, “Sinch is Bling”, “Namastey London”, “Heroine”, “Holiday”, Commando: A One Man Army”, and many other can now be watched all in Tagalog and the songs with Tagalog or English subtitles.
