New car? No license plate? Don’t fret because Snickers is giving away free temporary license plates to car owners TODAY (April 23) at the Capitol Commons Carpark.
The event is the launch of everyone’s favorite chocolate brand’s Don’t Drive Hungry campaign, a road safety initiative reminding drivers to not allow themselves to go hungry while they’re on the road. Long hours spent in traffic can lead to hunger, which can negatively affect the mood of a driver and the quality of driving.
By giving out free temporary license plates, Snickers wants to remind motorists not to drive hungry.
To pre-register, drivers can visit dontdrivehungry.com.ph – fill in your personal details and upload your car’s conduction sticker. An email will be sent to confirm your successful application and you can then claim your temporary license plate at the event venue from 10 am to 6pm.
You can also just bring your car’s official receipt and certificate of registration from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and present it at the event venue for on-the-spot temporary license plate printing.
