All things, good or bad must come to an end and sadly GMA Network’s Let The Love Begin already aired its farewell episode last Friday (August 7).
But before taking their final bow, the cast of Let The Love Begin gathered one last time at Alab Restaurant in Scout Rallos, Quezon City last Tuesday for a night of fun, games and thanksgiving! The event called ‘LTLB Last Hurrah’ gathered people from the online media community as well as friends and family members of the cast.
Let The Love Begin, which is a film-based TV drama series directed by Mac Alejandre aired their pilot episode in May 2015. The program features the successful on-screen tandem of GMA Network’s rising stars Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid.
Here are Ruru and Gabbi singing the theme song of the series during the Last Hurrah dinner-party:
The film is also supported by a powerhouse cast of veteran actors like Aiai Delas Alas, Gardo Versoza, Rita Avila, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Gina Pareno, Gladys Reyes, Noel Trinidad, Ricardo Cepeda, Joko Diaz among many others.
Also in the series are Phytos Ramirez, Rita De Guzman, Sancho Delas Alas, Abel Estanislao, Lucho Ayala and Neil Ryan Sese.
Ruru Madrid says that his most memorable scene in the series was his confrontation scene with Aiai who plays his mother.
“Memorable para sa akin yung sinampal ako ni Mama Ai kasi sobrang heavy talaga ng scene na yun at ang ganda ng kinalabasan,.. I will miss the happy set, at ang mababait na staff at crew at ang lahat ng co-actors ko sa show na ito.” Ruru said.
Gabbi who plays Pia, says that she will surely miss their happy cast because they have already built a strong relationship off-cam. Gabbi also shared that her most memorable scene in the series is when she slapped Ruru in the face.
Now, Donita Rose who plays Pia’s stepmother Celeste, asked the helped of online media to explain to fans of Let The Love Begin that she’s not really a bad person off-cam and is very worried about all the online haters who bashes her because of her character in the series. Which, in my opinion, only proves her effective portrayal of the role.
Donita says that she will certainly miss having Ms. Anne Villegas as her acting coach.
“She has been my greatest inspiration doing this soap and has helped me to not just enjoy the process but to study it further and possibly pursue even more roles.” Donita added.
Let The Love Begin Last Hurrah dinner-party was sponsored by the GMA Network Social Media Team and Diana Stalder Face, Body, and Skincare.
