Yesterday, ‘Once Upon A Kiss’ actress Bianca Umali treated the street kids of Kaisang Buhay Foundation together with their guardians to a day of fun and one-of-a-kind experience at the Art In Island Interactive Art Museum in Cubao, Quezon City.

GMA Artist Center headed by the GMAAC Talent Management Manager Tracy Garcia and the whole Artist Center team helped Bianca in organizing the special treat in cooperation with Art In Island Marketing Manager Marge Mamamuag and sponsors Zagu, Ellips Cologne, BUM, Aquabest and Zanea.

It was Bianca Umali’s first time celebrating her birthday with street kids and inside Art In Island.

Bianca turned 15 last March 2nd and celebrated it with a simple dinner with family and friends.  The dinner was unplanned and it was her sisters who set up the whole dinner as a surprise.

For those asking, Miguel Tanfelix got her a watch for her birthday.

The Art In Island activity became a pool of inspiration for the young actress especially for her sketches.  Some of you might not know this but Bianca loves to sketch, draw and paint.  Art is her passion.  She draws every time she gets a chance and even on the set of her shows during rest periods.  She said that one of her goals in life is to have her very own art exhibition and sees it happening 5 years from now.

Aside from ‘Once Upon A Kiss’, Bianca is also part of the shows ‘Ismol Family’ and ‘Sunday All Stars.’  This coming holy week, Bianca will also star in one of the episodes of the Eat Bulaga Lenten Presentation entitled “Aruga Ng Puso” together with Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes.  She will play a teenager who has cerebral palsy.

“Nahirapan ako noong una sa role, medyo kabado na baka hindi ko mabigyan ng justice yung character lalo na true-to-life yung story pero masaya din ako at the same time kasi isa ito sa aking mga dream roles.”  Bianca said.

Aruga Ng Puso will be shown on April 1st (Holy Wednesday).
