Gone Girl is probably this year’s most disturbing but magnificently played film.
The movie which was directed by David Fincher (Alien 3, Seven, Fight Club, Panic Room, The Social Network, etc.) was released last October in the US and was based on a novel by Gillian Flynn. It stars award-winning actor Ben Affleck (as Nick), the beautiful Rosamund Pike (Amy), Carrie Coon (Margo), Kim Dickens (Det. Boney), Neil Patrick Harris (Desi) and Tyler Perry (Atty. Tanner Bolt).
The movie discusses domestic problems and infidelity in an all too different light and manner. For those who haven’t watched it yet, I encourage you to go get a copy and watch it. It’s a slow-moving timelined film but surprisingly not in any way dragging and boring.
Aside from the fantastic story and well-executed acting, the two other things that you’d find interesting in this movie is that Gone Girl was co-produced by 90’s actress Reese Witherspoon (Cruel Intentions, Legally Blonde, Monsters VS Aliens) and that like the theme of the movie, it’s very much dominated by beautiful talented ladies led by of course, Rosamund Pike (Die Another Day, Wrath of the Titans and Jack Reacher) and 2013 Esquire Woman of the Year model Emily Ratajkowski.
More About Emily Ratajkowski:
You’ve probably seen her in the music videos of Blurred Lines (Robin Thicke) and Love Somebody (Maroon 5). This 23 year-old model became one of the world’s most sought after sex symbol beating Jennifer Lawrence on the Esquire race last year. She was named one of the 12 rookies of Sports Illustrated Magazine this year and 4th Sexiest Woman of 2014 by FHM.
Emily will play the role of Andie, Nick’s (Affleck) 20-something girlfriend – causing a whole lot of trouble for everyone and most especially to Gone Girl Amy (Pike).
Emily was born June 7, 1991 as Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski in Westminster, London, England and has been modelling since 2004.
