Alabang, Muntinlupa is changing so fast and Filinvest Corporate City is setting the trends for southern community living with one of its brightest prime spot, the Commercenter. An upscale yet homey modern hub located at the corner of Commerce and Filinvest Avenue, a few blocks away from Festival Mall and Ayala Alabang Town Center.
This two-floor and two-building complex provides a less crowded alternative to the busy shopping malls that surrounds it and offers a complete line-up of shops that caters to dads, moms, kids, friends, couples and just about everyone who are looking for a cozy location for meetings and relaxation.
Speaking of relaxation, I was at the Commercenter yesterday (November 20) to attend the grand unveiling of their new state-of-the-art premium cinema. Four digital movie theaters that are equipped with Dolby Digital 7.1, two of them are 3D capable all with guaranteed seating, plush seats with wide leg rooms and an ambiance to match all the luxurious cinemas in the world for only P250.00 a show.
The main program was held at the activity center where a photo exhibit of Commercenter’s #JustUs campaign was waiting for the guests. The photos convey all the many exciting things that Commercenter has to offer for #JustDads, #JustMoms, #JustUsKids, #JustUsFriends (barkada) and #JustUsTwo (couples).
A sampling of all the exciting dishes from the restaurants found at Commercenter were served to all the guests. A culinary exhibition of what a southern dining experience is from a variety of food establishments like Yellow Cab, Army Navy, Cocohut Fried Chicken and Fish, Mona Lisa’s Ristorante, Bacchus Epicerie, Buffalo’s Wings N Things, Chubby’s Ribshack, Lasa Bistro, Le Coeur de France, KXP Kulinarya Express, Maple Restaurant, Elbert’s Cheesesteak, Kessaku, The Black Pig, Belcuisine Belgian Restaurant, A-Won Korean Restaurant, Taters, Belly Rub and Assi Fresh Plaza Korean Deli/Mart.
But Commercenter is more than just cinemas and restaurants. They also have number of shops that offer various products and services for sports, fitness, wellness, hobbies and entertainment like Bikram Yoga, Asian Center for Dental Specialties, Fringe Salon, Asian Eye Institute, Centro Holistico, CMA Mental Arithmetic, 4C Early Learning Station, The Aivee Institute, US Professional Golf Academy Tours, La Vie Institute, Kitchen Gallery, Bridgestone Tire Center, Ducati, Callaway, Epic Cycles, Luxuri Boutique and Decor Contemporary Furniture.
Hosted by actor Edu Manzano, the event featured the exhilarating performances of premiere violinist Jay Cayuca and The Company plus a surprising launch of the Commercenter Jingle.
Mr. Marc Tagle, President of the Philippine Allied Enterprises Corporation gave the welcoming remarks.
Awesome prizes were also raffled off to all the media guests and tenants who attended the event plus a special block screening to ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ to try out the new Commercenter theater.
If you’re in the area and you’re looking for a place to hold a meeting, have some quiet lunch or dinner, or just relax and enjoy – the Commercenter is the place for you. I can’t wait to come back to this place again.
