In addition to the scheduled releases in 2015 and 2016, Marvel studios added six more untitled movie releases for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

It was announced that the Avengers: Age of Ultron will come out by May 1, 2015 and Ant Man on July 17, 2015.  Captain America will make its third appearance on May 6, 2016 and probably Doctor Strange on July 8, 2016.

Aside from the four films that are currently in the works, Marvel has already flagged six more release dates:

  • May 5, 2017
  • July 28, 2017
  • November 3, 2017
  • July 6, 2018
  • November 2, 2018
  • May 3, 2019

Three films for 2017?  Now that’s going to be a busy year for Marvel!  I am predicting sequels for Guardians of The Galaxy, Thor and perhaps a new Iron Man and Hulk movie.  I have also heard about a rumored reboot of the Fantastic Four and well, a third installment to the Avengers saga.

Whatever the projects are, one thing is clear, comic superhero characters have already made a comfortable attachment to the big screen industry and will be here to stay for many years to come.  An ultimate upgrade from page to film.

Your guess is as good as mine, but if you’re given a chance to choose the next six Marvel projects – what would it be?
